Today we are running in the world of 21st century which is guided by the science, technology and its applications. As we all are social and cultural being humankind who can't survive without ecological relations, so few sciences like social and applied, emerged as tuming point of present century. Significance of such researches is sky high and application of such field is vast and infinite. With this backdrop the present program is carved out to provide a platform for those young scholars and researchers who are deeply interested to make their career bright but have been denied by Indian Universities to proceed further with their soul aim for innovative researches for the benefit of the whole world.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The program, Doctor of Philosophy in various subjects of humanities and applied sciences in collaboration with Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia is designed to increase the research proficiency and academic preparation for those who desire to grow into researchers in the field of Applied Sciences. The program intends to generate postgraduates in scientific research that can accomplish their professional requirements in the highly challenging global market with novel knowledge, self-confidence, and exceptional ethical and moral values. The program has been crafted keeping in view the latest developments and advances in the related research fields.

For successful completion of the PhD degree in LUC, each candidate should publish a minimum of Four research articles in Scopus indexed journals, with Lincoln University College affiliation.

PROGRAMME AIM

The program of Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Sciences (By Research) will produce researchers and educationist who are:

  • Knowledgeable and competent in performing applied sciences techniques in their PhD work.
  • Capable of adopting methodical, accurate ethical and social responsibility with proper value, attitudes, and professionalism in the PhD work.
  • Competent to demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving qualities through effective communication within a team.
  • Competent in information management and lifelong learning skills related to scientific research innovation.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent from any recognized university in India or abroad.
